Beyond Bars Akademia

I met Stephanie Simbo when i photographed her for Diplomatico Rum and was impressed by her ambitious project idea - to take female ex convicts in SA and train them as bar tenders. So when i was on holiday in Cape Town i really wanted to see the programme in action and so offered to photograph some of the women in the programme - these are some of the results.
